Collin Larsen Gets Varsity Reps During Playoffs as Freshman

Pleasant Grove got more than they anticipated when they squared off against the Jordan High Beetdiggers Friday night. The Vikings, entered the quarterfinal ranked 6th in the MaxPrep Freeman Rankings the Beetdiggers ranked 11th.

As Jordan entered the 4th quarter leading by 27 points, freshman Collin Larsen took his first in-game reps as a varsity Beetdigger and his first steps on a career path well worn by his 3 older brothers, Cody, Tyler & Zach.

"
Cody Larsen, Collin's oldest brother, signed to the Baltimore Ravens practice squad this past season after playing a key role at Southern Utah as a Defensive Tackle.

Tyler Larsen currently anchors the Utah State Aggie offensive line at center and is a projected 2nd round NFL draft pick for the coming year.

After winning the 5A state championship with Jordan last year, Zach Larsen is serving a mission in Finland and will return to play at Cody's alma mater as a  SUU Thunderbird.

With, what has now become a family crest, "Larsen #58" took to the field. The significance of the event, though lost on most, was monumental to family and friends who understand.

Brotherhood, character, passion and an indescribable work ethic; this is what the game is about. This is Larsen football.
